Silverlake Conservatory of Music Celebrates 4th Annual “Hullabaloo” Benefit

This annual event returns on Saturday, September 27th and will be hosted at the beautiful lil city gem known as Union Station. A donation of $125 is asked of those that attend and if you are down for the cause you will be treated to hors d'oeuvres, a light buffet, and an open bar with spirits, wine, beer and champagne throughout the evening. There will also be a silent and live auction to raise funds for the school's various programs. Tickets are only available online, through the schools web site: Silverlake Conservatory of Music.

If you don't know what the Silverlake Conservatory of Music is, click on it to learn more information. It's an amazing cause and it's benefitting the kids, and who doesn't want to help the kids? Evil people, that's who! You'll be helping the Silverlake Conservatory of Music's scholarship program assist more than 150 low-income students whose families would otherwise be unable to afford instruments and/or lessons - as well as to expand the school's summer camp program and general operations. Longtime friend, magician Rob Zabrecky will join the line up again this year as the live Auctioneer. Where do you know Rob from? He MCs the Drums Inside Your Chest events every year, too.

Who's going to perform? Well, you have SCM students, Dean, co-founder Keith Barry, faculty, and of course, the school's other co-founder, Flea. Special guests include famed trumpeter Roy Hargrove, jazz singer Roberta Gambarini and members of the LA Philharmonic. All this, plus an open bar for only $125. Oh yes, and you get to brag to your friends about how you help kids out and keep the music alive in their hearts. That's a bargain if you ask me.
